To help plan your “Trip Back in Time…”

The 36th Annual Renaissance Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays, including Presidents’ Day Monday, from 10am-6pm every event day, rain or shine.

  • The Renaissance Festival is a medieval outdoor amusement park, a 16-stage theatre, a 50-acre circus, an arts and crafts fair, a Jousting Tournament, and a feast, all rolled into one non-stop, day-long, family adventure.

  • The Festival is open on Saturdays and Sundays from February 3 through March 31, 2024. Including Presidents’ Day Monday Feb. 19.

    Festival hours are 10am until 6pm.

  • The Festival is held in Gold Canyon, seven miles east of Apache Junction on US Highway 60.

    From Metro Phoenix:

    Take the Superstition Freeway (US Hwy 60) East, past Gold Canyon Golf Resort to the Festival.

    From Metro Tucson:

    Take the Tucson shortcut, The Pinal Pioneer Parkway (Hwy 79) to Florence Junction. West 7 miles on US Hwy 60 to the Festival Village.

    From Casa Grande:

    Take the Exit 185 to Hwy 387 connecting to 87/287 to Florence turn North on Hwy 79 to Florence Junction, West 7 miles on US Hwy 60 to the Festival Village

    From Flagstaff/Northern Arizona:

    Take I-17 South to Phoenix connection to I-10 then East on Superstition Fwy (US Hwy 60), past Gold Canyon Golf Resort to the Festival Village.

    $33 for adults plus tax

    Tickets Purchased at the Festival Gate are $1.00 more plus tax. Tickets can be purchased at the Festival Main Gate Box Office on the day of the event for $34 for adults (13 and up) and $22 for children ages (5-12)

    Discount tickets for seniors (60 and older) are $32, available at the Festival Main Gate Box Office plus tax. Please present i.d. at Festival Main Gate Box Office to receive discount.

    Discount tickets for military are $32, available at the Festival Main Gate Box Office plus tax and fees. Discount available to current, past military members by presenting government issued i.d. at the Festival Main Gate Box Office. Military discount valid for one ticket per ID.

    Group Discount Tickets : A 15 ticket minimum purchase is required to receive the group rate. The group organizer will automatically receive 1 free ticket with the minimum order placed.     Tickets purchased ONLINE, in Advance plus tax and fees:

    ADULTS $34 (ages 13 and up)

    CHILD $22 (ages 5 –12) and children 4 and under are always FREE.

  • Before you add any tickets to your cart, type the code in the box labeled “Promo Code” and click apply (use all caps). The page will refresh, and you can add the ticket type corresponding to that coupon to your cart. Please double check that the amount on the following page is what you expect before completing your checkout. All sales are final, and our coupons cannot be applied retroactively.

  • Free parking courtesy of Bashas’ and Food City stores, all entertainment shows, including the Tournament Jousting and Birds of Prey performances. You may choose to purchase Arts and Crafts items, Food and Beverage, or enjoy Rides and Games (costs vary).

  • You may bring one – 16 to 24 ounce factory sealed bottle of water in with you. No other food or drink is permitted.

  • You are welcome to bring a bag (purse, backpack, etc.) inside the Festival. They can be any size and they do not have to be clear.

    All bags are subject to search by our Safety Services team when you enter through the gate.

  • As you exit the front gate, you may have your hand stamped to re-enter the Festival that same day.

    Festival only allows same day re-entry.

  • At the ticket booth and most artisan shops we welcome: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER.

    For the food and beverage locations, in addition to the games and rides, ONLY cash is accepted.

  • Yes, we have 8 ATM locations across the Festival grounds.

  • Giving away or selling tickets on Festival grounds is prohibited and may result in the confiscation of tickets without refund and expulsion from the Festival.

  • Please call ahead of time ot make arrangements to pick-up a pre-ordered item. Please call 520-463-2600.

  • The Festival is held in a natural, outdoor setting. Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are allowed. We have disabled accessible parking, disabled accessible restroom facilities and designated seating at our Jousting Arena.

  • Stroller, wheelchairs, wagons, and motorized scooters (325 lb. weight limit for scooters) are available to rent, on a first-come, first-serve basis, weather permitting, at the Belrose Costume Shop located just outside the Festival Main Gate.

    Prices are: Wagons $19, Strollers $18, Wheelchairs $25 and Motorized Scooters are $12.00 per hour with a 4-hour minimum or $65 for the day (tax is included in these prices).

  • We do not allow pets to be brought into the park by visitors because of the great variety of performing animals in the Festival.

    Pets are not permitted on the festival grounds; however, service animals are not considered pets by the federal government and are welcome at The Arizona Renaissance Festival.

    Under the American Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog or miniature horse that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.

    ADA is also clear that emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals and, therefore, are not permitted in the festival.

    Please understand that your service animal may be excluded, and you may be asked to leave the premises if the service animal is disruptive, the handler is unable to take effective control of the service animal, the service animal is not housebroken and not cleaned up after, or causes the animals in performances at our event to behave aggressively or become agitated.

    We want all our guests to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the festival.

  • The Festival is an outdoor family friendly event. We suggest you dress for the day’s weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

    We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone dressed in a manner that may be deemed by Festival management as offensive. No clothing with written obscenities, violent or sexual images, excessively revealing or transparent fabrics, or offensive symbols are permitted.

    Shirts and shoes are required.

  • You are welcome to come dressed in costume.

    Costumes are available for rental at the Belrose Costume Shop located behind the box office prior to entrance to the Festival. Prices vary based upon costume choice. Adult costume rental prices range from $35 to $65 and child costume rental prices range from $15 to $25.

    Please Note: Costume prop swords/daggers and non-functioning prop weapons are permitted as long as they are properly sheathed, peace tied by our safety services personnel at the main entrance, and remain sheathed during your Festival visit.

    Open carry and concealed carry firearms of any type are prohibited on Festival property.

  • Patrons may not bring music instruments or large props into the Festival.

    Many of our participants earn their living performing at our Festival. Out of respect to these artists, patrons are not welcome to bring with them musical instruments or large props, nor accept or solicit tips while attending the Festival.

  • Costume prop swords/daggers and non-functioning prop weapons are permitted as long as they are properly sheathed, peace tied by our safety services personnel at the main entrance, and remain sheathed during your Festival visit.

    Open carry and concealed carry firearms of any type are prohibited on Festival property.

  • We are open rain or shine. Unless otherwise determined by Festival management, all events (including the Pleasure Feast) are considered RAIN or SHINE. No refunds will be provided due to inclement weather.

  • No drones are permitted at the Festival.

  • If the screen brightness on your phone is too low, the QR code may have difficulty being scanned. Increase the brightness of your display to improve scanning. Digital tickets generated from your BIG TICS Account or your Passbook/Wallet are accepted off of your phone.

  • Although, we encourage you to view your tickets on your supported device and take a screenshot or add them to your Passbook/Wallet before heading to the festival, you may go to the Will Call window at the Box Office for assistance in retrieving your tickets. Reminder to charge your device please.

  • We encourage you to charge your device before you come to the festival, but if you have an issue with your digital tickets, you may always go to the Box Office Will Call window for assistance.
